Shooting In Buxton and the Peak District

Shooting day number 6 (Monday 28 July 2014) saw us in Buxton and in the National Park itself in the High Peak District. We had three locations in the one day.

The first location was the Peak District National Park which was Britain's first National Park. It has a special place in the hearts of millions of visitors each year - for our main protagonist (Jack, played by Robert Sheehan), it’s the same. This is where he goes to ruminate when particularly troubled by those who hound him.

Of course, bringing a film crew into the Park requires special permission, and we were fortunate to be guided by a friendly ranger. We were particularly mindful of the area’s internationally important and protected landscapes and wildlife.

We only had a relatively short time here and were not able to enjoy the views for long. In the beautiful spa town of Buxton, we needed to use a local public house - as a location rather than to refresh ourselves. From this pub, our hero ends up being ejected.

Later in our third location, we find Robert Sheehan's character wandering the streets of Buxton.
